Just got back from a follow-up interview

All I have to do is fill out an online information thing so I'm in their system then I can start making money!

I just need to go set up a bank account... kinda need one of those for direct deposit.

So yeah, growing up and stuff. Interesting.

I used to work at a job where every time I would pick up my check they would ask me to setup direct deposit and they tried making it sound like if i didnt i wouldnt get paid. I was too lazy to do this so i just kept going in there and getting my printed check. I did this for like 6 months every week until I quit. sUCKERS!

I did that for a long time too. Then they started mailing the cheques to the wrong addresses. Gave it up after that.

I'm really hoping I do cooking more than serving, because from what my girlfriend's said (she works up front there) people are downright rude out there more times than not.

Some banks have ATMs where you can deposit the check. I do this. It works well.

Why on earth would he want you to get a check?... I have pleaded everywhere I've worked without direct deposit to set it up. It's so much easier.

If you do end up going the check way, my bank's app lets me deposit them by taking pictures of the front and back so that can save you a trip.

You still get a paystub with direct deposit that details your hours worked and the stats of how much you have made and all that stuff. Direct deposit just means you get your money in your account at 12:01 am payday. Much easier and you don't have to go to the bank to cash a check.
